I think you should learn to play piano! I wish I could teach you, but I wouldn’t know where to start. I’m sure there are tons of people here that you could take lessons from, though. And I’ve got lots of piano books if you want to borrow some.

Dear Gina,

So far, you have sent me two VERY inspirational emails. The first was the Storycorps website. That same weekend, I visited my grandma’s cousin, now 78 years old, and she told me all about what it was like growing up in Artesia California in the 1930’s 40’s etc. She was born in California two Mexican parents and she told me all about the experience of not being allowed to speak Spanish in school, having to wear skirts, and the racism she endured, even though she was born here. And then you sent me Crafty chica. Well talk about inspiration I needed to continue to write. Anyway, thank you thank you amiga. I am so glad I came across your blog.

I am using the keychain one…but they didn’t have the picture of it, and I didn’t feel like scanning

Why aren’t you using the library card you can put on your keychain? It’s way more convenient, and one less card in my wallet. And I would suggest, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime”, though I recommend the audio book because the narrator does a great job.

Yes, I caved, I had pressure from you and friends at school. And I am so happy I did! I may try and volunteer at the library, depends on my schedule for next quarter though.
I actually have and have read Wuthering Heights, but it has been so long ago…I remember a hand coming through a window and grabbing someone…yeah, that’s about it. Maybe I didn’t finish it…oh heck, perhaps I should read it again!

Yes, let’s pick a book! My book club is reading “Chimera” by John Barth (I need to pick it up, but the library only has 1 copy and it’s out!)

YAY! Finally you caved!! I have Wuthering Heights I’ll pass on to you if you like. I’m almost finished with it and it’s quite good.

I find books from http://www.readinggroupguides.com and browsing around goodreads and stuff. We need to read a book together again like we had been for a while there.
